Access Gen

Response Systems are pleased to announce the release of Access Gen version 8.61. This release delivers a brand new user interface within the Eclipse framework, multiple report tabs, increased interactivity on reports, support for new CA Gen features and a new simplified update process.

Brand New Interface – The User Interface has been redesigned from the ground up, using Eclipse technologies, to bring a new look and feel to Access Gen, enhancing the already powerful features while improving the user experience.

Multiple Report Tabs – A powerful new feature is the ability to have multiple report tabs open simultaneously. Users can switch between these tabs as needed, or rearrange the layout to browse multiple reports at once.

Support for CA Gen r8.6 – Access Gen now supports new features in CA Gen r8.6 including Inline Code and Web Service consumption.

Simplified Update Process - Utilising a central update repository, all Access Gen client installations can be configured to automatically apply updates at start-up or check for updates manually at any time; this ensures all Developers’ software is always current.

Web Services GENius

Response Systems are pleased to announce the release of Web Services GENius version 8.61. This release delivers a brand new user interface within the Eclipse framework, seamless integration with Access Gen and a new simplified update process.

New Interface – The new User Interface has designed using Eclipse technologies, to bring a new look and feel to Web Services GENius, enhancing the already powerful features while improving the user experience.

Seamless integration with Access Gen– Customers licensed for both Web Services GENius and Access Gen are now able to access both of these products via single interface on their desktop. This seamless integration allows users to seamlessly switch between the powerful features of Access Gen and Web Services GENius.

Simplified Update Process - Utilising a central update repository, all Web Services GENius client installations can be configured to automatically apply updates at start-up or check for updates manually at any time.

Upgrade Console

Response Systems are pleased to announce the release of Upgrade Console version 8.61. This release delivers a brand new user interface within the Eclipse framework, seamless integration with Access Gen, support for CA Gen 8.60, batch execution mode, multiple report tabs and a new simplified update process.

Brand New Interface – The User Interface has been redesigned from the ground up, using Eclipse technologies, to bring a new look and feel to Upgrade Console, enhancing the already powerful features while improving the user experience.

Seamless integration with Access Gen – Customers licensed for both Upgrade Console and Access Gen are now able to access both of these products via single interface on their desktop. This seamless integration allows users to seamlessly switch between identifying upgrade issues and understanding the impact of any potential remediation.

Scheduled execution mode – Upgrade Console now features a task scheduler that allows customers to schedule long running analysis activities in batch, freeing the Client up to perform additional activities whilst these activities run in background, and subsequently retrieve the results upon completion.

Multiple Report Tabs – A powerful new feature is the ability to have multiple report tabs open simultaneously. Users can switch between these tabs as needed, or rearrange the layout to browse multiple reports at once.

Support for CA Gen r8.6 – Upgrade Console is now compliant with CA Gen R8.6.

Response Systems are pleased to announce the release of QA Console version 8.61. This release delivers a brand new user interface within the Eclipse framework, seamless integration with Access Gen, Task Scheduling to allow for batch execution, Multiple report tabs and a new simplified update process.

Seamless integration with Access Gen – Customers licensed for both QA Console and Access Gen are now able to access both of these products via single interface on their desktop. This seamless integration allows users to seamlessly switch between identifying QA issues and understanding the impact of any potential remediation.

APMConnect for Unix

Response Systems is pleased to announce the release of Version 1.4.0 of APMConnect for Unix. V1.4.0 adds support for capturing SQL timings for database activity, and now includes a configuration utility to help with maintaining the system.

SQL Tracing - Average Response Time metrics are now captured around SQL statements of type: OPEN, CLOSE, FETCH, SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE. They are reported on a per-transaction basis, and can optionally participate in a transaction trace stack, allowing you to see them interleaved with Action Diagram calls.

Configuration Utility - This now ships and allows for display of the current configuration, as well as modifying most of the common properties that are changed, including the new SQL Tracing mode. This allows for stopping via scripts and allowing easier deployment into new environments.
